CareerSource Broward set out to help the county's small and mid-sized businesses adopt AI with confidence, across the everyday functions that keep a business running.
We started with the people the Playbook was for. Local business leaders shaped what went into it, and the result was written in plain language, with no jargon.

Three roundtables in October, November and December 2025 brought together business leaders across Broward County industries, alongside a county-wide survey.

A 12-chapter, magazine-style guide with 31 downloadable tools, organized around six business functions and a clear path from first steps to leadership.

YWCA South Florida selected and contracted a CRM and case management platform and a staff intranet, named 30 staff champions to lead adoption, and began preparing its leadership team to plan for AI, including two pilot projects.
The Playbook launched publicly as an interactive edition and a PDF, giving every Broward County business a plain-language starting point for AI, with tools ready to use on day one.
